Cardiac Working Group (CWG) Forums
CWG Forums, held approximately twice a year, were venues to
exchange information and ideas among local healthcare leaders
and nationally recognized speakers.
They were open to CWG members and to select clinicians from the participating institutions by invitation. Participants discussed varying practices and outcomes and challenged long-held assumptions. Based on regional data, national trends, referred publications, and recommendations from professional organizations such as the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, clinicians determined best practices in coronary care and drove implementation to improve patient outcomes.
