Continuing Education

PRHI´s Continuing Medical Education program is offered in cooperation with Allegheny General Hospital which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. In accordance with the policies and standards of ACCME, the American Association of Medical Colleges and Allegheny General Hospital, presenters are asked to indicate if they have any relationship, which, in the context of their presentations, could be perceived as a real or apparent conflict of interest (e.g. ownership of stock, honoraria, or consulting fees). Any such relationships will be disclosed to the audience and consideration will be given to the possible influences on their presentations.

The Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center´s Commission on Accreditation.
